We are very pleased today to welcome Two Leaf Gallery member KATHERINE KEAN to the Members' Page. Katherine is an accomplished landscape artist who looked us up and said some nice things about our Blog. I visited her page and gave her the add immediately. The website for her own on-line gallery, Katherine Kean Fine Art, www.katherinekean.com, bears the legend, "Revealing Luminous Realms to Nourish the Soul". I could not think of a better way to describe her work. Thanks, Katherine! JPM.

I just had to save her for today ( October 13, 2009 ). Here's a special welcome for Two Leaf Gallery member KELLY HU. Kelly joined us on September 24, 2009. We first discovered her in the role of Detective Grace Chen, causing considerable mayhem under the direction of HK action legend and series star Sammo Hung for a few rowdy seasons of MARTIAL LAW (CBS). Her motorcycle stunt work was highly memorable. From there it was on to the big screen, as the female lead in the masterful Vince McMahon production of THE SCORPION KING. THE SCORPION KING is rated PG-13, it's available on DVD and we hardly ever get tired of watching it...

Kelly has an extremely barbaric MySpace page (Editor's note: it's not there now!), and with any luck she'll keep us up to date on what projects she has in the works. Welcome, Kelly! JPM.

Our good friend LINDSEY YUNG, who is a very talented singer / songwriter, has been a Two Leaf Gallery member since September 22, 2008. Lindsey has a new website at lindseyyung.com. The site features many of Lindsey's tunes, as well as personal and tour information...

When you visit Lindsey's site, be sure to treat yourself to a viewing of her music video, With Every Breath ( the one with the sea turtle footage ). It is an outstanding performance, and one of my personal favorites.

As promised: Lindsey has a live show scheduled for October 4th (2009), and that will be at LESTAT'S, 3343 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116. The show is at 9PM, admission is $5 ( nice! ), and Lindsey says it is her CD release party and she'll be "pulling out all the stops for this one", which we assume means including a few Iggy Pop tunes in the set. More info as we get it. JPM.

The first five notes of 'You Really Got Me' are probably the most famous in all of rock and roll. That's what RAY DAVIES started with... the British Invasion group The Kinks appeared many times on '60's music shows like Shindig, and from there, Ray has proven to be one of our most prolific songwriter / performers. Following the release of his latest album, 'See My Friends', in January 2011, Ray has several activities scheduled for later this year (Editor's note: the year was 2011). Along with Dave Davies, the Kinks, and our friends at www.raydavies.info, Ray has been a Member of Two Leaf Gallery since we opened on September 29, 2004. We wish both Davies brothers the best of health. JPM.

Besides being one of our first Two Leaf Gallery members, JUN HASEGAWA is one of our most beautiful and successful young models. Jun was born in New Hampshire, USA, grew up in Hilo, Hawaii, and came to popularity as a model through her work in Japan. There are several websites that feature Jun's modeling: some of her most recent can be seen at www.rag-bone.com/archive-diy-jun-hasegawa/. Jun is highly family-centered, and she is active on FACEBOOK and Instagram as well. JPM.
